Supporting tomorrow’s human rights leaders

In 2016, James led the Communication and Advocacy paper for Auckland University of Technology’s new Master of Human Rights.

The course aims to equip a new generation of human rights leaders with practical skills and knowledge to make a lasting difference in their communities.

The students learned digital storytelling skills which they used to prepare a documentary on the complex challenges facing homeless young people in Auckland.

James prepared a video recording the experiences of the students on this course.
